With data security threats and breaches becoming ever more commonplace, companies globally are having to continuously review and update their online security to ensure good practice, and to mitigate commonly occurring threats.
As part of Cartus’ ongoing vigilance in this area, we are delighted to have received the UK-based Cyber Essentials Accreditation. Cartus has secured this UK Government supported accreditation as part of our commitment to deliver robust protection of our internal systems to protect our clients’ and relocating employees’ data.
To receive the accreditation, Cartus UK was required to demonstrate that the following key elements are in place and compliant with Cyber Essentials’ stringent requirements:
- Boundary Firewalls and Internet Gateways
- Secure Configuration
- Access Control
- Malware Protection
- Patch Management
Being awarded the Cyber Essentials Accreditation assures Cartus clients of our UK domestic programmes that their data is secured within the guidelines set out by the UK Government, which in combination with our other critical system protection methods and global data protection policies, gives important added confidence in the security of confidential information stored with us.
